"Triple Green” Reduced Fat Guacamole

Combine creamy avocado, protein-packed edamame, and a hint of vibrant Align Matcha® for a unique, nutrient-rich dip that’s as flavorful as it is wholesome. Infused with zesty lemon, a touch of sesame oil, and a kick of jalapeño, this recipe delivers bold taste while keeping things light. Spread it over toast or use it as a dip with tortilla chips. The Recipe (Serves 6)

  • 1 medium very ripe avocado-halved, seeded, peeled and diced
  • 1 1/2 cups tender-cooked shelled edamame
  • 1 tablespoon very finely minced shallot
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 fresh jalapeño chili pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of Align Matcha®
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Items You’ll Need: Food processor with sharp blade.

How to make it:

  1. In the work bowl of your food processor, pulse together the avocado, edamame, shallot and garlic until well combined and smooth.
  2. Stir in the sesame oil, lemon juice, jalapeño pepper, and Align Matcha®.
  3. Add salt and pepper if needed.
  4. Serve with toast or tortilla chips.
