Combine creamy avocado, protein-packed edamame, and a hint of vibrant Align Matcha® for a unique, nutrient-rich dip that’s as flavorful as it is wholesome. Infused with zesty lemon, a touch of sesame oil, and a kick of jalapeño, this recipe delivers bold taste while keeping things light. Spread it over toast or use it as a dip with tortilla chips. The Recipe (Serves 6)
- 1 medium very ripe avocado-halved, seeded, peeled and diced
- 1 1/2 cups tender-cooked shelled edamame
- 1 tablespoon very finely minced shallot
- 1 clove garlic finely minced
- 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 fresh jalapeño chili pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of Align Matcha®
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Items You’ll Need: Food processor with sharp blade.
How to make it:
- In the work bowl of your food processor, pulse together the avocado, edamame, shallot and garlic until well combined and smooth.
- Stir in the sesame oil, lemon juice, jalapeño pepper, and Align Matcha®.
- Add salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve with toast or tortilla chips.
