Goat Cheese Salad with Orange Slices & Matcha Dressing

The Recipe (Serves 2)

  • 1 teaspoon Align Matcha®
  • 1 teaspoon grapeseed oil
  • 2 teaspoons agave (or honey)
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon of hot water
  • 1 cup mixed greens
  • 1 orange (half to be sliced for the salad and half for 1 teaspoon of juice)
  • 2 tablespoons goat cheese (Vegan substitute: soy cheese or roasted cashews)

How to make it:

  1. Add one teaspoon of Align Matcha® to a small bowl and mix with one teasppon of hot water to make a paste.
  2. Mix in grapeseed oil and agave. Slice the orange in half and squeeze a teaspoon of the juice into the matcha dressing. Add a pinch of sea salt.
  3. Stir matcha dressing to combine all flavours and add mixed greens to a small bowl.
  4. Peel the remaining half of the orange, cut into small slices and place over greens.
  5. Break down goat cheese into small dabs and place over greens.
  6. Pour matcha dressing over greens, orange slices and goat cheese.
